One paragraph says 'The proper way to uninstall a program is to use the uninstall routine that is bundled with the program itself'. However I am a bit confused with the link you sent. Yes, I am relatively new to Win7 ! I will try the library over the next couple of days. If I remember correctly, you're relatively new to Windows 7 so what I'd suggest doing is popping down to your local library and borrowing something like a Windows 7 Essentials Guide, that kind of thing because Windows 7 does things differently from XP and Vista in a number of respects.
What I'd suggest doing is following the Windows 7 software uninstall guide here and click Yes to any scare messages that come up since they're there to try and make you keep the software on the computer.
